Why I Created CamTag

we don't want to think about privacy but we all know it's important. we have a right to privacy, that’s why we lock the bathroom door and use passwords.

as convenient as our phones, tablets and laptops are, they can be hacked and the built-in cameras activated without our knowledge, allowing us to be viewed and recorded without our consent.

with most of us working from home these days and frequently communicating via video chat, it is more important than ever to protect our privacy now.

facebook's CEO, a former FBI-director and many others have already made a habit of covering the cameras on their devices. and so should you!

i searched for a product that would allow me to protect my privacy by disabling the cameras on all my devices but wasn't satisfied with what I found. the options i tested were either too permanent, bulky, generic or device specific.

i wanted individually designed reusable camera stickers that fit perfectly on my phone, tablet, laptop and desktop computer.
