Pros: holds great so far, sticking and unsticking (that I did only a few times though) works great, the sticky side seems to remain clear of dirt, which is promising.
Cons: it's an enormous PITA to unstick it. It's small and is very tricky to handle, so every time I do this it drops somewhere in the space b/w the lid and the body, and if it's landed the sticky side down (which has happened in 100% of cases for me so far), I needed tweezers to get it from there.
It's equally hard to stick it back, if not harder.
I learned a trick of opening the lid the farthest it can go to handle this op, which lowers the chances of the sticker falling somewhere it'll be a total pain to retrieve it from. However, it's a bit inconvenient if the laptop is on a stand.
Overall: great concept, but needs improvement, considering the price. It'd make perfect sense to have a version with a small non-sticky flap that one could use to hold the sticker when handling it (imagine the shape of a "power" symbol to get the idea).
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! I hear you — it can be a little tricky to handle CamTag at first. Unsticking the smaller versions takes some practice. I recommend moving the CamTag aside by placing one finger over the sticker and using your fingernail to slide it without actually unsticking it. This way, you have it at hand as soon as you’re done recording and want to cover the camera on your phone, tablet, or laptop again. I made prototypes with a non-sticky flap but found that those can get peeled off by accident, look less nice, and have a shorter lifespan. The price is a bit higher because we design and produce locally in Austria rather than relying on mass production in China.
Works as expected. Good choice in colors. My only quibble with the sticker is that it keeps dropping off whenever it is moved. It can be reattached easily, but might get lost easily due to its size. Is there an easy way to clean it so that I can increase its shelf life?
Thanks so much for your feedback! You’re right — the smaller versions of CamTag can lose a bit of stickiness if they’re moved around a lot. The good news is that CamTag is washable: a quick rinse will remove dust and restore its full adhesive quality.
works perfectly, very small, thin, blends in well, and re-usable. leaves no residue as it doesn't use adhesive. but magically sticks and does not come off unless you pull it off.

The product itself is of good quality, and I’m satisfied overall. The only drawback is that the color did not match my laptop as closely as I had hoped. That said, I truly appreciate the effort made to accommodate my request for a plain design, which was exactly what I was looking for. Because of the slight color issue, my honest rating would be a strong 4 out of 5 stars. Would I recommend this website to others? Absolutely — but I would share my full experience so they know what to expect.

So far I haven't managed to 100% replicate the light reflection properties of anodized aluminum with print, so depending on the light situation solver tabtag look somewhat lighter or darker. I have a bit of a mixed feelings about this. I love these little ghosts but they are so tiny and fiddly to use that they fly away and then it is so difficult to put them back on and I don't even have sausage fingers. Also, I have a privacy screen and if I am not accurate when I put the ghost back on, they will fly away when I put the privacy screen. So I don't know. Ghosts are great, but not too good of a solution if you need to take them on an off.
