how CamTag works

CamTag is completely adhesive-free and reusable, making it an eco-friendly way to protect your privacy. take a look at the video below or read through our easy-to-follow instructions.

how to apply CamTag

  1. make sure the surface around your device’s camera is clean and dry, with no dust, fingerprints or cleaning-detergent residue.
  2. choose a sticker size that best fits your camera area from the CamTag set.
  3. carefully peel the CamTag from the transparent film and place it directly over the camera area or next to it if you prefer to keep the camera uncovered while still keeping the sticker nearby.
  4. press down gently for a few seconds so the adhesive-free film makes solid contact.
  5. now your camera is covered and protected until you’re ready to use it again.

how to remove

  1. when you want to use the camera, gently lift the CamTag by using your fingernail or slip a thin sheet of paper between the film and the device surface to avoid any damage.
  2. after removal, store the CamTag on the side of your device (so it’s still attached but not covering the camera) or in its original packaging – this will keep the film clean for reuse.
  3. the removal causes no residue thanks to the adhesive-free film used in CamTag.

how to reuse

  1. you can reuse your CamTag many times — the film is designed for repeated applications and removals.
  2. to maximize reuse: keep both the sticky side of the CamTag and the device surface free of dust. If it gets dusty, you can rinse the sticker carefully with cold water, let it fully dry, and it’s ready again.
  3. always apply on a smooth surface for best adhesion and longevity.
