many of you sent us messages and comments asking for a set of CamTags, that includes different designs within one set. we are happy to tell you that we will offer a CamTag – Mixed Design Set as an additional design option. all 25 CamTags within this set will have a different design.

please note, that the CamTag – Mixed Design Set is only available including 25 designs from our design collection. this does not include custom designs. so far we have revealed 20 designs, but will soon reveal more designs for you to choose your 5 new favorites from.

when the kickstarter ends we will send you a survey where you can choose the CamTag – Mixed Design Set among the design options.

if we unlock our third stretch goal and reach 1000 backers, the CamTag – Design Collection will not only contain 20 sets with one design each, but 25.

CamTag is a set of reusable privacy stickers that helps protect your privacy by covering the built-in cameras on phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers.

with most of us working from home these days and frequently communicating via video chat, it is especially important to protect our privacy now.

ps. just in case you are not familiar with crowdfunding sites like kickstarter, crowdfunding means that you and other people can help make a project or product a reality by contributing to it in exchange for various rewards. if the funding goal isn’t reached within a certain timeframe, no one is charged, and no rewards are distributed.

we are humbled by the review published on TechAcute. Christoper Isak thoroughly tested the CamTag sample we had sent him and even went so far as to ask his followers on Twitter if they cover the built-in cameras on their devices (including smart phones).

the results were that about half of all the 103 people that voted in the poll are covering the camera while they aren’t using it.

of course this might not statistically represent average users of laptops, tablets and phones, but it certainly shows, that there are users who are concerned about their privacy. with our Kickstarter campaign launching on may 20th this is very encouraging.
